Child Safety Standards

Last updated: May 10, 2026

EchoCircle is a personal-safety app with private chats between users. Because users communicate with each other, Google Play's Child Safety Standards apply.

Zero tolerance for CSAM / CSAE

EchoCircle strictly prohibits any content or behavior related to child sexual abuse, exploitation, or grooming. Violation results in immediate and permanent account termination without prior notice.

Minimum age

EchoCircle is intended for users aged 13 and over. Minors under 13 must not create accounts. Accounts identified as belonging to under-13 users during moderation are removed.

In-app blocking

Any user can block another user with one tap. Chats, notifications, and calls stop in both directions. The blocked user is not notified of the block.

Reports by email

If you encounter abuse (CSAM/CSAE, harassment, spam, threats) — email echo.circle.app@gmail.com. On a substantiated report we ban the offender's account and delete their @username — after which they cannot message anyone in the system and cannot recreate an account with the same handle.

Reporting to authorities

When CSAM/CSAE material is detected, we report it to NCMEC (National Center for Missing & Exploited Children).
