Please read these terms carefully before using EchoCircle. They govern your use of our mobile app and related services.
Acceptance
By creating an account or using EchoCircle, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service. These terms apply to all users of the EchoCircle mobile app and associated web services.
Service description
EchoCircle is a personal-safety application that allows users to send emergency alerts to a trusted contact circle via push notifications, messaging apps, and SMS. The service is provided on a best-efforts basis and does not replace emergency services (911, 112, or equivalent).
Accounts
You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account. You must provide accurate information during registration.
Acceptable use
You may not use EchoCircle to: (a) send false, malicious, or spam alerts; (b) harass, threaten, or impersonate other users; (c) attempt to circumvent security measures; (d) violate any applicable law or regulation. Violations may result in immediate account termination.
Limitation of liability
EchoCircle is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any failure to deliver an alarm notification, loss of data, personal injury, or consequential damages arising from use of the service. EchoCircle is not a substitute for calling emergency services.
Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these terms. You may delete your account at any time from within the app or by contacting us.
Changes to terms
We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the "Last updated" date. Continued use of the service constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
